All of you are encouraged to submit your favorite shayris to the list! You are just requested to follow these GUIDELINES as much as possible! The better you follow the guidelines, the higher are the chances of clearing your shayris! Here are the guidelines...
- Send your contributions to Shayris@YahooGroups.com.
- Do not send any attachments as they are automatically deleted.
- Postings with attachments should be sent to Chumma@YahooGroups.com.
- Your message should look cosmetically clean, presentable and readable.
- Do not just hit "forward" button to post as those messages will be deleted.
- Our group address must be in the "To" field to avoid junk mail filtering.
- It is NOT necessary to send copies of the postings to the moderator.
- Use an appropriate subject line which is unique.
- Do not just use "shayri", "good one", "nice one", "fwd" etc. in subject line.
- Clean up the ">" forwarding marks, headers, footers, etc. b4 posting.
- Use mixed case and avoid writing in only uppercase or lowercase.
- Use standard size fonts only. Avoid extra big or small fonts.
- Try using proper punctuation and grammar.
- Limit your signature line to a minimum. Do not include disclaimers.
- Be creative, selective and original.
- Please limit your contributions to no more than two (2) a day.
- Do not keep on reposting same shayris if they are not approved originally.
- Shorter contributions are more likely to get posted than longer ones.
- Any sort of religious propogandas are not permitted.
- Avoid unnecessary personal remarks, disclaimers or commercial messages.
- No chain letters, virus warnings or other such nuisances.
- List the name and email of the original author if known.
- Avoid mails which could hurt feelings of others.
- Send your contributions to only one list of your choice.
